1) Introduce the topic, give some historical background, and state why topic
is significant.

2) Review the progress of the field over the last few (five) years. Break
the topic into several aspects, and review them one by one. What has been
done? What has been discovered? What has been concluded? Why are these
discoveries important, e.g. how have these findings advanced the field?

3) What remain the most important unsolved issues of the field? What are
challenges? What possible approaches can be used to solve these issues? What
will happen in the near and far future?

I would start with several key papers representing the most significant
progress over the past couple of year and build it up from there with the
above outline in mind
