You bet. Mostly, paper from Elowitz, Collins, Arkin, Oudenaarden..., going to
read tonight and then think about it... see what they have done and can be
done further...
【 在 musician (自由心) 的大作中提到: 】
: no, i don't think you understand his question. then again, maybe
: i do not understand his either.
: but i think he was talking about something like in the following
: paper
: elowitz, (2002) science Stochastic gene expression in a single cell
: 297:1183

: 【 在 leohawk (leohawk) 的大作中提到: 】
: : if noise is too high to influence your interpretation of data, it will
: : be a problem ba?
: : I think doing stochasticity in gene expression is kinda too complicated.
: : I mean at what level are you going to do it, or, what is your definition
: : of "gene expression": mRNA level? protein level? active state? activity?
: : localization to active compartment?
: : The best available technology for this is, currently, RNA chip, as far
: : as I know, reducing noise by different method is important for this.
: : At last, I am not sure if I understand your question right :)
: : 【 在 decay (化不可能为可能) 的大作中提到: 】
: : : thinking about doing sth on stochasticity in gene expression . But do we
: : : really care about noise?
