We have a DNA engine OPticon 2 system from MJ research. It is about half of
the price compare to ABI QPCR machine, and you can still use ABI tagman probes
and reaction mix. However, I prefer design my own primers and use sybergreen
enzyme mix from qiagen. And i love the opticon program, it is very
staightforward and easy to learn.
