Well, I am not familiar with her, but it seems that she has a strong
personality. She became so hot recently. She chairs Renold cardiovascular
research in dallas and just got in HHMI and IOM. And do not forget that she
did her postdoc with Mike Brown and Joe Goldstein. Her husband is also a
powerful figure at UTSW.
In terms of research, I am not sure if a PhD can do well in her lab. Most of
the good papers from her labs are human genetics stuff.
If cardiovascular at UTSW, why not Eric Olson? He is nice, powerful and
handsome. :)
