I do not know the name of her husband. But he closed his lab a couple of years
ago, purely adminstrative stuff now.
You will not regret if you join Eric Olson's lab, very organised and
productive. And he cares about his people a lot even though he is always busy.
After one week in boston for interviews (with several so-called super bulls),
I would strongly recommend him to you again. The only down side I can think
of is that he is so dominant in the field, and it probably would be difficult
for you when you start your own lab.
What I heard about David is that he is completely hands-off and does not care
about his people too much. He did his postdoc with Ron Evans, though. May have
a good chance to get in NAS. He is very smart and funny.
