Some people still wonders whether IT is a good career. Isn't it just another
form of labor work?
The answer is a definite yes.
Then why do we need to transfer?
1. It provides excellent pay compare to some other jobs.
2. It is relatively easy for us who learned zero about math in our past
education.
(For an intelligent PHD in Math/Stat/Physics, I would definitely recommend
quant, but that is too far away for us Bios.)
3. Intelligence (plus proper training) is the only factor to secure a good-
paid LABOR position.
In any career if your goal is beyond labor, you need talents other than
intelligence. You won't be a labor forever if you have more than a smart mind in IT. If you are creative and adventurous, there are so many start
up stories.
But is there a single talent you possess that can secure a well-paid LABOR in bio? Maybe it's luck.
