As many asked for the source of the grant, here are some details.

It is from American Health Association. The grant is supporting disease-
related research. My project is trying to translate the knowledge of protein
structure to its biological function. My present lab is a combination of
protein chemistry and biology lab. My boss is a structural biologist. We have
crystalized a protein in its free form and its lipid binding form. And we also
find out several residues are very important for its function, lipid binding,
membrane translocation etc. I have generated several knock-in mice with the
mutant proteins, and now it is the time to look the phenotype.

I am a post-doc right now, no green card, just H-1B. It is my second post-doc
training in US.
