In the future, hopefully the relationship between China and Japan will be
like the relationship between US and Britain.

It helps to form stronger bond with countries that share similar cultural
root. That will set the tone for China rising as the global dominant force.

Just like western countries trust themselves more than they trust China,
China should trust her neighboring countries like Japan more than she trusts
western countries. In maybe 20-30 years, the eastern Asian countries will
have a combined GDP more than that of European Union, so ideally it makes
sense to build a "union" in east Asian with China as the leader and Japan
plays the second role.
