Since the stock mkt peaked in Oct, Dow has dropped 16%, Nasdaq 23%. Is this the bottom? Is the effect of the housing/financial mkt bubble burst over?
Q4 2007 is the first quarter where GDP\'s growth dropped, to .6%. To be textbookly correct, GDP\'s growth needs to be negative to start counting toward recession requirements. Therefore, at the current rate, the earliest Fed can officially declare \"we are in recession\" would be July 2008. Assume the recent avg recession span, it\'d last 8 months. 来有桌子/车顶着。万一桌子/车被砸扁了，你也不会被压住。

Since I spent so much time typing this up, might as well post it here for
all to see. =P

There's no natural scenery in LV. Just casinos. But lots of casinos are
worth visiting, not just for gambling:
Belagio:
Huge music fountain in front. (When it's not playing, it appears to be just
a pond.) My favorite. 真是感觉喷泉在随着音乐翩翩起舞。美！百看不厌。白天看已
经很棒了，晚上灯光一打，美到极点。Every 15 minutes.
Mirage:
- 门前的火山入夜后每15-30 minutes 喷发一次。
- 里面有玻璃房子可以看白老虎。

(Just thought I should save this somewhere instead of retyping it everytime someone asks for it...)
I have bought several mattresses at this Vietnanmese furniture store in Fremont.
We like firm mattresses so we got the Japanese imported super firm model. I think it
was $400 for queen size, and about $600 for king size. I told them I'd pay
cash and bargined them down to that price plus free delivery, and no tax. (
Unless you live really far. But they don't charge much for shipping anyway.
$25?)
Don't remember the store name. But here's how to get there.
